Solving the Financial Challenges of Business in Mexico

Bruce Weber, CFO/Treasurer of Wolverine Metal Stamping, Inc. based in Michigan, will speak about the company's facility in Mexico. He will discuss the activity they've had over the last several years and some of the opportunities and challenges that came with the transition.

Bruce is a CPA with an extensive background as a Financial Manager and Owner of O.E.M. products of stamping, injection molded plastics, and machined castings. Bruce was one of the four investors who acquired Wolverine Metal Stamping, Inc. from the retiring founders in 1998. He became CFO in 2000 and President in 2003, prior to the sale of Wolverine to Eric Jackson in November 2003.

Wolverine provides stamped metal components to the Automotive, Furniture, Appliance, Hardware, and Computer Industries. However, Wolverine's capabilities extend far beyond stamping and metal fabrication, as Wolverine provides a unique mix of value added services, including assembly, custom kits, riveting, welding, bar coding and specialized packaging.
