Mike Isch, Global Oil & Gas Market Manager, Eaton Corporation will speak about the challenges and rewards of entering new overseas markets, focusing on his experience in China.
Mike Isch works in Eaton Corporation's Filtration Division and has more than 20 years experience in engineering, manufacturing, product development, sales and marketing. At Dover and later at Eaton Corporation Mike has been doing business internationally for over 15 years. His experiences include setting-up offices in China, India & the Middle East. Mike's staff is made up of global sales and marketing professionals stationed in key areas of the world. The oil and gas team manages global projects throughout the world that are engineered, manufactured and installed in multiple regions.
Eaton Filtration is a global supplier of filtration systems for many market segments, and has global sales, engineering and manufacturing facilities. The oil and gas segment focuses on the downstream or refining segments. The business is split between standard products and highly customized major capital equipment. Key customers include major international oil companies IOCL, Saudi Aramco, CNPC, Petrobras, BP, Chevron, and more.

Tom Budd, Marketing Manager, Hess Industries (Niles, MI) will briefly present the history and early entry into international global markets and expand on how Hess formed its collaboration with Repkon (Istanbul, Turkey). The strategic alliance of the two companies is called “Metal Smart.”
Tom Budd has been working for Hess Industries, a manufacturer and leader in metalforming solutions, for the past seven years, with the last three months transitioning into the Marketing Manager position. In his prior position with Hess, Tom served as Regional Sales Manager for the Northeast North America and Eastern Canada markets and has traveled extensively throughout Europe and China.
